Motu 828 Drivers Request
« on: February 07, 2023, 02:17:15 PM »

Hello,

Finally got my setup all connected after many months of tinkering. Running TI Powerbook 1Ghz with a Motu 828. I also have a Liquid Saffire 56 going in via Adat. Akai S3000 (scsi'd with a Ratoc Slimscsi talking to Recycle), JV1080 and Korg Micro X all connected to an MT4. It keep loosing sync with the clock set to ADAT. Internal spot on. I could not get the the drivers off the CD (kept asking for the AudioDesk code) so had to use the MOTU FireWire Audio Control Panel Version 2.1 in the DP3.11 installer. MOTU seemed to have changed the site re legacy downloads and is only going back to Tiger. Do any of you lovely folks have the last OS9 installer for the 828 or am I on the last version already? Thank you in advance. Shazbot.

i can confirm that the motu legacy downloads have vanished from their site last year, but now everything is back into order. :)

I also need the Mac OS 9 drivers for the MOTU 828 mk1; unfortunately, I haven't been able to find them online. After things didn't work out with the M-Audio FW410, I'm now trying my luck with the MOTU 828—though, unfortunately, it doesn't have MIDI ports.

Hopefully, someone can help.  :)
