your SDII plug-ins are also waiting for you in the file section since a month.

let us know if you need help with downloading - only if you guys ask we can learn what newbies might need to know.

Whats a file section? And where is it

I sure do thanks for pointing it out

anyone can point me towards a certain "file section" please?

im sure no harm was intended just "to-the-point" sense of order versus trying to maintain a sense of politeness got a bit of a rub

both of you are the heart and soul of what makes this place the coolest in the world

See this thread: http://macos9lives.com/smforum/index.php?topic=7181.0
I will update the site to reflect the changes to make it more clear.

ssp3, I think IIO means that we do appreciate your opinion and experience, but in terms of preservation we do need to be able to archive every version of every piece of relevant software we can find, despite the bugs they might have. And in those terms your personal preferences are not of any interest, as IIO mentioned. Because everything needs to be preserved.

And of course, no one can force you to do anything. We are merely trying to encourage you to share ;)

"Opinion" and "personal preferences" have the same meaning in my book.
So, opinions are not welcome, but uploads are? Note taken.

Of course opinions are welcome, but your opinions should not be a show stopper from sharing the actual software. I can dislike working with Cubase, but still share the install files if anyone has another opinion than mine, instead of trying to force everyone to share my opinion.

And that’s my opinion :)

nah, waves will be filed under "waves", despite that it is technically not its own plug-in interface.

but i also suspect that i haven´t found all of my SDII by now.

if you find info about missing products just let us know - i have no overview about this stuff because i am about 3 years too young for that. (DFX audiosuite was my first plug-in)

if somebody adds something new it is in the "upload" folder.

in the case of "Peak â„¢ 2.62.sit" (2.5 kb) is has been sorted under "trash" because it is broken. *hint* :)

And that’s my opinion :)

i only used the word "opinion" as an euphemism, maybe that caused the confusion.

what i meant is that he says is wrong to show people where to download 2.6 when they ask for 2.6, because he doubts that the crack would work. because we are all idiots and only he knows better, as usual. that pattern repeats over and over again and recently even random visitors ask me via PN what´s wrong with us.

at the same time it can of course be a useful information that there is a problem with a certain version or a program. this would be even better information that just an opinion...

while opinions can never be right or wrong it is interesting that everybody has the same opinion on peak v. 4.x(!) ...

Not working. What client are you using? Upload it as an attachment to the forum otherwise and we'll add it to the server for download :)

I think it might be the ™ character that messes up something. Need to look into other Hotline client options for Intel Macs. Thanks for informing :)

Added "Obsession" to the clients list on the Downloads page. Give it a go! :)
