Sonarworks/ Room EQ correction on Mac OS 9

Protools5LEGuy:
Match EQ is better used to calibrate (frequency response) than to get EQ from X song.

This can be used as "Mic Modeler" too, matching 2 different mics to sound as if they were couple.

Give Mac Gyver Free Filter and he will teach us even more uses.

Never underestimate a soundengineer willing to use a tool.

spectral shaping tool by jupiter systems introduced room correction to pro tools 3 4? in 1993?45?

freefilter is an amazing "sounding" eq as everything by spectral design

IIO:
beside the type of filters used in them the other two main issues is that
2. you have all the same frequencies again across possible parallel used
instances - and 3. most GEQs also have harmonic steps (like octaves, thirds)
in itself, which is also problematic for the sound result.

GEQs and other fixed frequency filters play almost no role in mixing and
mastering for those reasons. fully parametric wins in every aspects for sum signals.

yet on OS9 we´re a bit short on GEQs and therefore should probably be happy
with the 3 plug-ins that exists.

Pushpull76:
I remember very well that, back in the days, there was a tdm plugin for "studio linearization". Anyone remember the name?
