yes, and i am probably related with mr. kafka.

the last 48 hours i was fighting against about a dozen or so weird technical problems - that kind of stuff is often part of creative processes such as producing a piece of music here.

first something is not authorised, then a program which only supports float all of a sudden exports 32int files which are unusable in another app, then another external PSU of a disk explodes, then my custom software doesnt work as i thought, yada, yada, yada.

i know how to work effectively, but somehow i like things to be "complicated".

and btw, this also was one of the very rare cases where the RAM in a G4 wasnt sufficient to do what i am doing, so i had to redesign the workflow and rewrite code. 5 hours before the deadline ran out, that is.

Complicated, agreed. I wonder what people will have to do in the year 2.000.000 to type and print a letter.

for a few nerds writing texts across the continent is easier now because of computers.

for the majority it only became more complicated.

I wonder how complicated computers and other gadgets will be in the year 2.000.000 if we continue on this path.
