So I finally found time to refurb the PSU and install new fans.

Wanted to document it but it just was too much work...

System is up and running :)

For all of you past… and potential Quicksilver PSU recappers, 68kMLA member (@obsolete) has posted a more inclusive capacitor list for the Quicksilver AcBel PSUs. In that thread it’s also mentioned that removing the heatsink (12 solder points and two screws) allows for easier access to the caps. I have requested a photo of those solder points and hope to attempt this when time allows.
