Analog gate+compressor dream

erm..recording voice as well as experimental reeds -  very wide dynamic range.. :-X  :o dreaming of a nice analog gate and compressor - in the same box.. mono is sufficient. no menus, just tactile quality tweaking. willing to pay like 2000 bucks if it makes difference. is there something like this anyone can recommend?

a combination of focusrite platinum voicemaster and plantinum compounder should do the job, second hand around 1000 euros in scandinavia today.

the platinum compounder is my all day dynamics effect, i prefer it over the ISA for both  its musicality and design.
