Bernie ][ the Rescue Errors

I am trying to use Bernie ][ the rescue to make some IIgs disk.  I am using Mac OS 9.2 on a Beige Powermac G3 desktop.  Whenever I try to mount any disk images inside of Bernie and restart the emulator it will give me an error showing all kinds of different letters and numbers.  I have tried dozens of images with the same results.  Anyone use this and familiar with the issue?
