Hi
« on: August 26, 2018, 03:15:03 AM »

Hi,
A brief introduction.
I have used windows, linux and mac machines and still run Linux Mint on my main computers.
I came across this site Os 9 lives and thought that I would try out Os9.
The power mac  i book G4 which i have as my daughter no longer uses it runs in classic mode and does not boot into OS9.
So I got from another site some G3 i books that had problems .
Both machines had a graphics card problem which when they were repaired allowed Os9 to boot.
I have updated the hard drives to 7200 rpm and fitted airport cards.
I am setting up the i books with some software to try them out before deciding what to use.
This site has been the best regarding advice on using Os9 and getting problems sorted out.
Hoping later to add some posts.
