Fades in older DAWs
« on: October 06, 2014, 01:14:33 PM »

I'm noticing that it wasn't until the 2000s or so that DAW software started including a way to graphically edit fades and crossfades on the waveforms. Older versions of Cubase, Logic, Pro Tools and Digital Performer all have this fade tool where you have to edit the fades from some popup menu or something similar. I really miss the feature on newer DAWs where you just grab the top ends of the waveforms, click down and drag over to create them.

Or maybe these old DAWs do have this capability but I don't know it?
