Missing control panel entries !

I just re-read it but i'm not using any application.
I mean the "Apple Menu Items" function.
Anyway i think i just resolved it.
I think DieHard just copied HIS Control Panel folder from inside the system folder to the Apple Menu Items folder so any NEW entry in the Control Panel folder from new installed programs doesn't show up in that Apple Menu Items because it just reflect the state from the moment it was copied in the first place.
I just deleted the Control Panel from INSIDE the Apple Menu Items folder and replaced it with an ALIAS from my actual Control Panel folder.
It's now working fine!

That make perectly sense. It is like at all standard Mac OS now at your machine too. The Control Panel folder inside the Apple Menu always is an ALIAS to the real Control Panels Folder.

how did it actually get to be a double copy of the control panels instead of a symbolic link to begin with tho????
and yea philgood.. strange that u would bring this up just few moments after i referenced the same problem with finderpop tho;O (context menu edit thread http://macos9lives.com/smforum/index.php?topic=1401.0)
ok wait maybe i didnt speak on that but this happened to me when i was installing the extension for this app.. it didnt show up in the control panels properly and i had to go into the folder and double click the extension maybe i said this in a pm to syntho
