just found this listing and kinda considering it;)

The Mia card has Balanced connections. The M-Audio does not. That pretty much answers the question in my book.

i have the gina 20bit (which is echo's worst card? frm 1997?) and im constantly surprised at how GOOD it sounds!
and i know the mia and the layla both had a very good professional rep at the time back in 02/03 so im quite
intersted to know how this card stacks up.. intimately!
