MIDIBASIC or similar
« on: January 28, 2023, 06:37:43 AM »

Hey!
I was thinking of maybe writing some MIDI control software for my CBX-D5.
I figured I could give it a shot with MIDIBASIC, since BASIC is about the only language I know enough to program. I dug my old MIDIBASIC 2.2 diskette, but discovered it's probabaly a OS6 thing: won't play on my 7.6 system. Likely it won't be of any use on OS9.

I was wondering if any of you know of a developpement software similar to MIDIBASIC (or a version of it) that will work in OS9...
MAX would likely do but I'd have to learn its language, which I'm not particularly eager to do... any other?
