I tried downloading Hexedit 2.2 from www.sourceforge.net/projects/hexedit, and while it works on my OSX 10.5 PPC machine, it does not work on classic... It supposedly supports classic and osx all in one binary, but downloading the dmg image directly on my os 9.2.2 system, or transferring it over the network, and running it does not work on classic (obviously - it's dmg). The zip file is the source code and does not contain an app.

If I stuff the file on my osx machine and transfer it to my os9 machine, and try and run the app, it claims that the machine can't run the file as there is something wrong with it. However, I can open the .app package and see the contents...

So, has anybody here successfully got Hexedit 2.2 to run on their OS 9 machine?
