« on: May 05, 2014, 11:45:39 AM »

Just thought it'd be fun to see how everyones Mac OS 9 Workstations look.

I'll start with a simple Pro Tools project  -afro-

I had 7 musicians come in to record with a huge collection of instruments.  A few of them sang as well, so I seperated them into three rooms to isolate instruments and drums from the vocals.  Anyway, this session is getting very complex.  I've only finished two tracks and there are five more to go!  Most of the time, I was recording 24 tracks at 48khz 24bit.  It sounds great so far.  I might have to upload a few of their songs.

Looks more like a pattern sequencer than a DAW to me ;).

Share your stuff! Would be fun to try them out.

an older version with some parts broken is in the ftp i think, i will gladly assist you to get into it. the sequencer itself is easy to use, but things like I/O and file access partially requires custom programming because i never finished generalized modules for that.

Sure! Sounds like fun. Which language did you write it in?

it is all max, and it also requires max to run it. the software consists of the modules, and you can connect them to each other the same way how programming happens in max (just a lot easier)

Hey Knezzen... How do you get the blue and yellow color coding that you have in your screen shot? I use it all the time in later PT versions but didn't think there was provisions in PT 5.1.3 for that sort of thing.

The blue and yellow tracks etc? It's because I have a Pro Control with 3 additional fader packs. Each color marks one fader pack, so you know which one to lay your eyes on when it's time to mix :)
