Well, the Sonnet upgrade is dead, thanks to a very stupid mistake I made.
I talked to some people from the 68kmla community, one of whom suggested that R1-R5 probably set the multiplier. A look at the 7455 datasheet made this look even more likely, since the configuration of those resistors match the setting for 15x perfectly.
So I tried to bridge the pads for both R1 and R3 using some foil tape to set it to 12x. The machine started booting, but then bombed, and after that, it refused to POST again. I then actually measured R4 and R5, which I feel like a complete idiot for not doing in the first place, and they're actually 1 kΩ. 🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦
The Beige G3 still runs with the 450 MHz G3, so something on the Sonnet upgrade is fried, and I have no idea if it's fixable.
