i'd be interested to know what you mean by "supported fully... To my knowledge MESA was compatible with all the S2 & S3x series samplers, XL and non-XL.

Alas I have obtained a physical Mesa II 1.0 disk. The only file was the ins file below, which I have saved as a .sit file here and a .bin file. So far the only difference I see is this is Mesa 1.21 with the SCSI Plug 1.0 included, which allows you to access the S3200/S3000/S2800. Not sure there is any further difference yet. However this disk comes with a Akai DD1000 editor and sound transfer program.
