OS 9 2.2 on iBook G4 (Late 2004) 1ghz
« on: June 14, 2020, 06:17:29 PM »

So I did have success with tricking openfirmware that im using a different cpu than whats in my ibook, but I have some worries if its even worth using

1. I wanted OS 9 on it for PPC gaming since the majority of PPC games were Mac OS Classic.
2. I have no idea how to get the ATI mobility Radeon 9200 to work
3. Sleep doesn't work *Can this be fixed?
4. the ibook runs really really hot.

Is it worth using OS 9 on the iBook G4 I have, or should I use Panther/Tiger with classic environment?
