power supply woes
« on: November 14, 2018, 02:16:37 AM »

just wanted to bring attention to the fact that the PSU can be responsible for alot of wierdness when things are acting strange
i was having the problem of SPDIF audio stream corrupting and causing garbage in sound stream.. after replacing the PSU - all of a sudden everything works PERFECT.. (even tho the 2nd interface was external and had it own psu) just something to keep in mind..

Yes!... Had a power supply in a expansion that was slowly dying and it was causing a bunch of problems that I couldn't track down. Once I replaced the PS all was well in the world!! ;D
