just wondering if theres any people here that have any good reviews to tell me about this product
before i hit the buy button - the idea being 100% compatibility with all of my systems (esata - usb2/usb3 - fw400/fw800) and also wondering what file system people are using??? FAT32, NTFS, exFAT vs HFS+, APFS

it seems that exFAT is gaining more common place support these days but FAT32 is the only volume format compatible with both WinXP and OS 9; for a universally compatible drive moving files between vintage systems maybe its easier to just use FAT32 and live with the 4gb file limit - for lo-tech vintage users this might be the best idea; what files need to be larger than 4GB anyway? other than high def video files - which i wont be accessing on vintage systems anyway

Single model Runs great, as good as the metal Gdrive... I have two without drives at the moment since I now use the Mercurcy elite Al-Pro Dual Models, Note that there are more that (1) model of these and they have the same name, I use the Dual FW800, single FW800 and single UBS 2.0, no USB 3.0 :( on this model.

I also have the USB 3 and eSata Models, I use these for all my Mac Pro preps, and went with the duals, so I don't have to re-do my images if a drive fails

I can vouch for the mercury elite drives. I use a previous generation USB3 + eSATA with a PCMCIA Seritek card (via eSata).

The drivers for this card took a bit of trial and error with help from Michael at FirmTek, but after some back and forth, we eventually found the proper sit archive. it works well now.
