Blue Microphones "The Snowflake" USB microphone
« on: June 20, 2017, 01:08:49 PM »

I recently picked up one of these at a local thrift store:

http://www.bluemic.com/products/snowflake/

Why I mention it is because although it isn't stated on their website, this device is "class-compliant" and works in OS 9 with sound manager automatically without any extensions required.  I've read that internally they physically have two revisions, but the firmware should be common to all (and not flash updateable anyway).  It's a fairly simple mono device but at the very least a good alternative to the analog mic input on Mac motherboards.
