« on: May 07, 2017, 12:53:08 AM »

Greetings os 9 lovers. I am reviving my old powermacg3 blue and white with aty graphics and scsi card and drive. I can successfuly restore the disk by following the instructions in the cd, but when it boots i get a "sorry, a system error occured. Illegal instruction. To temporary turn off extensions restart hold down shift key", which i do and the it boots normaly, but i can't guess which extension to remove  :( any input from you guys might help.

This is an age-old issue with Mac OS that has a step-by-step process of elimination to locate and fix it.
It's too long to explain here.

Go HERE and read this:  http://essentialmac.com/fix/extconflict.html
