Programming bounties

Something I've seen in many different projects, programming bounties. Basically donations to incentivise people to do work we non-programming people can't do or to give something for the hard work people put in projects we enjoy.

There are quite a few projects scattered around the site. Would it be a good idea to create a project and bounty page so we can send specific donations?
