31-7-2009. Last drivers ever developed for OS9 for a pointing device?
If I were a rich man... I would buy 4 to make a 2x2 tactile matrix (To get 4xVGA outs in a G4 is "easy", 2 out from the agp port and 2 outs from a radeon 7000/9200 pci) That conected to a USB 4in1 hub and OS9 at your fingertips!
There are 10" 800x600 surfaces and bigger ones with higher res.
Anyone with touchscreen on OS9?
Post here the first one, please

You can make a nx 2n matrix using http://www.matrox.com/graphics/es/products/gxm/dh2go/analog/ (http://www.matrox.com/graphics/es/products/gxm/dh2go/analog/) Dual Head 2 go...
Display driver supporting
2048 x 768 or 2560 x 1024 resolution
Maybe even n x 3n using triple head...

wow.. mac os 9 support? :o
a very rare find..
and only 99$
it sounds too good to be true.
i wonder how well the 'feel' of working with it on os 9 could be!!!
who will be the first to test this out?

I guess we can compare it to early android tablets (800x480 native resolution in 7 inches).
Tablets brands like Apple ::) use dots per inch or something like that to show the density of the panel
-
I hope with something like this we can use it in macos9
with Logic - heres an example in osx;

Wow...i think i lost the opportunity to get my hands on it.
I just searched on the driver page and there isn't any trace left of a Mac OS9 version.
I only saw a OSX Leopard driver for PPC Macs.
I'll attach the old driver here for archival purpose...
I'm afraid that new screens from that brand wouldn't work with that driver so i think it's without value...
What a pity...thought i had a good idea for my space constrained homestudio setup. See my other post.
