For anyone interested, my song Dreaming from Movement in Still Life is probably 80% Vibra9000. The character of that thing to this day is stunning.

Best,

hm, i began to play with my old koblo projects the other day, it is still a field to explore. i almost got a polyphony solution working for the 2.5 release which end users have.

maybe one day i reassemble a vibra 9000 with the developer tools where i add full midi CC controllers and polyphony. because these are the things which are really missing to make it even better.

from the viewpoint of Max/MSP as main program absynth 2, tokyo, UAD and powercore are the perfect generators, as traditonal VST hosting is very expensive in this host.

and koblo did a great job with a very clean and fast (one vector) inter application audio streaming - with 16 channels and for MacOS 8.6! the stuff was so much ahead of its time and the majority of ignorant comsumers have almost forgotten this wonderful software.

re: polyphony in 2.5

the last problem is the presets folder. how do i have a normal folder in MacOS 9 which is an alias to another folder at the same time? is there soomething like folder scripts in classic like in OSX?
