Title: Europe, Europe
Post by: Protools5LEGuy on March 27, 2014, 01:07:48 AM
European MacOS9Lives Group.
Some Ebay products are unreachable in Europe.
Some Ebay products are only UK pickable
Some Ebay products are only Germany pickable
...
We have members that can sort it out.

If UK members can pickup and send to other members in Europe we can get CHEAP things.

Join this list for a better Europe  ;D

Some CraigList products are only USA pickable. No PowerMacs in Craiglist in my country.
...
We have members that could sort it out.

Avid takes your pci HD cards (not sure about core TDM) off if you buy an HDX system with reduced prize.

You can count me in. In the Netherlands Ebay is not that big.
There's a specific site for used mac's:
http://www.tweedehandsmac.nl/

Or our ebay owned alternative:

I don't know if there is a Romanian version of eBay, but there are a few similar sites
www.okazii.ro
www.mercador.ro
www.tocmai.ro
But you have to be careful around there, because there are tons of a$$holes that have no idea what they're selling, are pretty rude, or think they are the allknowing mighty mouse...
If you guys find anything on these sites and i can help in any way, especially since i don't know how good your Romanian skills are, just let me know.

The best offer is http://www.tweedehandsmac.nl/ads/?11/c6f364753f4346309ca2bb3a9b3e4e72/PowerMac-G4-+-Monitor-+-Toetsenbord (http://www.tweedehandsmac.nl/ads/?11/c6f364753f4346309ca2bb3a9b3e4e72/PowerMac-G4-+-Monitor-+-Toetsenbord) I have an mdd as this (different graphics card)
I would pay 20 for this monitor if you keep the MDD for spares. I am only interested on the monitor and the graphics card. Deal?

Hi,

This is not a good offer. In Dutch the seller says....the monitor display is bad but functional and the the MDD dvd player is broken.
You don't want that do you?

What kind of display are you searching for? Maybe I can find a better offer. Shipping costs to Spain are €25,-.

Arjen

The Apple Cinema HD 23 is the monitor every ADC PowerMac wants.
That is very dificult to find because there was not too many sold.
http://www.everymac.com/monitors/apple/studio_cinema/specs/apple_studio_display_17_cl.html (http://www.everymac.com/monitors/apple/studio_cinema/specs/apple_studio_display_17_cl.html) this is dificult to send as any CRT is heavy
Any acrilic monitor bigger than 17. Any from http://www.everymac.com/monitors/apple/studio_cinema/index-cinema-displays.html (http://www.everymac.com/monitors/apple/studio_cinema/index-cinema-displays.html)
Anything with bigger than 1280x1024. The one from second hand mac seems 1280x1024

We European have FORMAC http://www.formac.com/en/index.html (http://www.formac.com/en/index.html)monitors too, and are good quality and some models ADC. I am in for them too.

The thing is to get people with this in stock from updating hardware in business that are not going to sell ADC monitors but to power macs fans

They seem nice. Eizo are good monitors too.
Can you translate the more interesting ones?
I would pay up to 30 for the monitor (only the 23HD) or 20 for a smaller one plus shipping.
