Title: Macintosh SE - does it take a normal ide hard drive?

just wondering if this thing takes a normal hard drive..
i dont think they used ide harddrives in 1988?
i remember the drives were huge back then..
but i cant remember if they were the same 40pin IDE interface?

ok it seems it takes a realy low capacity scsi drive?
