Hello! Im KenaiPhoenix and I recently fall into this rabbit hole that is MacOs, I will tell you guys a story:
I like physical media, I think it a good part of gaming/software that we have lost that made it special, like a token of our ethereal software to have on our room to look, appreciate and all. So Im starting to build (expand) a collection of video games mainly, and recently I started to get some games from PC.
One of my recent catches was Falcon 4.0, full boxed, inserted, and with Windows 95 & 98, so it should run fine on wine.
I waited like a month until it arrived in a really good condition BUT it was actually the Machintosh version. Now I know i could just use the Steam version, but since I got, why not see if I can make it run?
Little did I know this would start my quest for like 2 weeks where I would only dream on how can I make MacOS 9 and Falcon 4.0 without having to get a proper Mac (which i dont have the money or the space sadly)
So Im currenly running MacOS 9 on QEMU-Screamer (for the sound). First time to successfully get a VM working, and it is really fun. I code as hobby, and even if I currently cant spare too much time, Im looking to see if there is something funny I can out on MacOs.
