Hello! I have just recovered from storage a very old G4 MDD that I used for work more than a couple decades ago. Upon examining, I've noticed that I have removed the RAM (easily sorted) and the hard drive. I have, however, a few HDs from upgrading my iMacs to SSDs. My question is, can I use this WD 640Gb drive in my MDD? Will I need an adapter board or can I just plug it in?
I've ordered a 9.2.2 installation disc and some RAM, and I'm keen on getting it up and running for some retro gaming. I've looked at the pinned info above, but the MDD section is blank, which gives me hope it's just plug and play?
