Hello everybody,
I bought (well, I won with my summer job) an Audiomedia III card to use under Windows, it was a nice bundle at that time (1997?), and I quite recently acquired a cheap G3 Mac to put it in.
I'm not aiming to professional sound design (it was my first job but I'm now almost retired from Education as teacher), I just want to digitalize some old tapes and my Audiomedia III seems to be ok for that - I've successfully tested it recently under Windows and the Digitest application I discovered among many installation files didn't see any issue about the hardware installed into the G3.
Thanks to your forum I managed to install Pro Tools 5.1.1 (thank you Knezzen! (https://macos9lives.com/smforum/index.php?action=post;quote=57904;topic=7467.0;last_msg=57926)) but now I'm facing the serial number validation problem. It's a long time I don't have the manuals and boxes of the bundle anymore.
I just navigate during a few days a lot of ressources but didn't find anything. I am honest and just want to use my AM3 card again on my old blue tower. Would it be possible?
Many thanks in advance.
