I have an original Octamed 6 CD,, but I don't see any installer for PC and Mac OS 9.

I think this one was exclusive to the Commodore Amiga. The CD is from the era when the Amiga went bankrupt (1994), so I guess Mac OS 9 wasn't even around yet.

i dont think there is an amiga emulator für classic macos which supports (any form of) MIDI output.

but there is an octamed for amiga, maybe you can run the amiga version on a macmini PPC?

A G4 MacMini will run MorphOS an Amiga like clone OS, which for the most part will run Amiga software. Instructions for OCTAMED are here. <https://forum.amiga.org/index.php?topic=53509.0>
