ive been using pluggo in protools free for some time. stable, no problems, except plugins do not reload in a saved session and so all automation data also get lost.
message at session startup says :
"The following plug-ins could not be restored
because they are missing,
DAE ran low on memory,
or they are intended for TDM systems only."
since neither missing plugs or TDM is the case
i gave DAE 200 Mb extra RAM, no change
now the pluggo documentation says protools free
does not support RTAS plugins, but since i have Waves and a couple of reverbs
RTAS that workes fine i was hoping to solve this...
-
no ideas?? :( i was thinking it might be a OS related thing. and theres so many clever OS9 guys here :)
-
...and at least 3 of us 10 use maxmsp as i just learned. ;)
there is a way how to use RTAS in PT Free ... feel pt-free to send me a PM or email for more.

Pluggo works great on my TiBook running OS 9.2.2 and Pro Tools Free. Let me look at how I have set everything up and i'll get back to you :)
-
tack knezzen!! cant wait. :P
-
ooh..still cant wait ;)
-
Haha. Let me FINALLY have a look. The MDD with Pluggo is connected and working in the studio again. Sorry for the 10 year delay, bu!
Bjussar på vuxendricka om du är strax norr om Dalälven någon gång ;)

Sweet! Vuxendricka? hmm..could be fika..or is it sponken?
-
Well, fika is of course an option as well. A bit easier perhaps ;)

I had a similar problem some time ago..you have to check that in addition to the Pluggo Rtas plug in the Plugin folder there is the folder (or alias of where you have the folder) with the Pluggo plugs in the DAE folder (not in Plugiin) in the system folder..
-
Right..so on opening your saved Protools Free-session your loaded pluggo-plugins as well as their settings are remembered??
