Hi everybody,
I have been on closet cleaning duty and have been wondering if my trusty PowerBook 12 is not ready for a new home. I do not use it as much as I used to and recently I have been pulling the Ti instead. I will describe here in details in case it were to interest somebody (otherwise, it will remain bunk-buddy with the Ti).
It is a PowerBook G4 12 inches 1.5GHz model with 1.25 GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD. The DVD drive reads properly commercial CDs and DVDs but is finicky with burnt medias (just spit them out without attempting a read).
It is currently setup with 3 partitions: Leopard, Tiger and OS9 but only 2 are bootable (never got around to make the OS9 partition bootable with the custom ROM as I have the Ti for native galore).
It comes with the VGA & DVI adapter along with the original DVDs (Panther and the OS9 for classic DVDs and the Tiger DVD).
The backlight as a darker spot in the bottom middle part but it goes away or is not noticeable after a few minutes on a regular desktop use at medium brightness.
It won´t come with a charger as I only have one that I share between the 2 laptops. But I can throw in any additional old component if you like and they are available (RAM stick, HDD...).
I would be letting it go for 225€ including the shipping within France using regular mail carrier. For international shipping or UPS/Fedex, buyer pays for shipping.
