Title: Renamer app for OS9

Not very fond of "A better finder rename". Looking for an app that offers as many options but does not fill your system with two extension and one more line in the contextual menu. Grrr !

Try 'Drop•Rename'

File Buddy 7.6.3 might have the features you need (or it might not, I haven't used it in a long time and I don't know what kind of renaming you want to do). It's an app, so you can quit it when you're done.

been using it for a few days, it has fewer options than A Better Finder Rename but it's quite handy and fast.  :)
