Anyone KDX?
client/server/tracker: https://macintoshgarden.org/apps/kdx
I spent a lot of time there back in the days. Installed it on an emulated MacOS9 (MacOS9 App, based on Sheepshaver - tip: ignore the UPnP warning on launch). I thought it was about dead but it's not: so far, three trackers and 8 servers still valid and active and I've just started exploring.
The software is highly customizable from typical MacOS looks to colors quite remote from the Mac experience, lol.
Word has it that after a few days, you're asked to register (don't know if you just get an annoying reminder or if the app stops functioning). Browsing the different KDX servers in search of a hack/patch/licence...whatever. Fun and nostalgia so far !!

Tip:
Within the app menus, do not hesitate to control-click (about everywhere), lots of options

Thanks for bringing this up! I really need to check it out. I was always sticking to Hotline back in the day and missed KDX. Time to do some exploring this weekend :)
IIRC it's from the original Hotline developer when he left after their internal spat - does it offer "Hotline features" like supporting resource forks as well ?

That I don't know, I'm new to Hotline (didn't use it all back in the days). It's best to ask users like Ari who know both.

It does supports more or less everything Hotline supports (including resource forks). Look at it as Hotline++ or something like that ;)
