I recently saw such a miracle online.
Does anyone know what "ladders" mean?

That is fake, of course. The AppleVision 1710AV is a normal, landscape-orientated monitor.

I think I can't find such a strange monitor in mactracker.
In the 90s, Apple was strange, I wouldn't be surprised if such a monitor or prototype existed for real.
