I just wanted to report, that the: "DIGITUS USB 2.0 multi card reader Product number: DA-70310-3" is compatible with Mac OS 9. I stumbled across it, as my local dealer claimed it is USB 1.1 compatible (as the manual does, but not any advertizments), and so I gave it try. It was 10 bucks, an is working without any issues. Nice to have even SDXC available as clean USB massstorage at 1.1 busses (something that nearly every mobile phone manufacturer is failing for example).

Add me in, a thumbs up from me! (it also reminded me that I should test my card readers with OS 9 ...)
May I inquire as to what you're going to use it for? Just for moving data between systems? Or something else?

Mainly I am interrested in file backup and pictures from non-smartphones. Also I have 2 cameras which store the photos at SD-Cards.

What's wrong with putting this adapter inside FireWire enclosure and using it "naked"?
