Title: Non-MIDI software package for noob
Post by: mloret on November 14, 2022, 07:21:51 AM
Hi folks!  This is my first post on OS9Lives.  I am looking for an easy-to-use software package that will allow me (amateur) to create some simple music using virtual instruments, no MIDI.  I am thinking some something like Adlib Visual Composer from back in the day or the Music Construction Set for Apple II.  Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

Virtual instruments are pretty much all MIDI, but implemented "in the box" with no MIDI cables or external hardware needed.  We recommend a high end G3 or G4 and getting use to a simple OS9 DAW (with VST Support) for starters.  This package is very easy to learn and will put you in good shape to advance if you want to later on.
