I have a lovely TiBook which I just acquired. It’s only a humble 500MHz G4 with VGA but with an SSD installed it flies along. However upon wake from sleep, I get the same grey (actually black and white 1px checkerboard) screen you get on initial startup and nothing happens.
This happens even with extensions off. OS is universal 9.2.2, not a funny unsupported version.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Well I solved it. It turns out to be the Transcend 2.5" IDE solid state drive. I installed it jumper less. When I added a jumper set to "Master" the machine now boots perfectly into FireWire disk mode and wakes from sleep as it should. Hope this info helps someone else at some point.
