The downloadable file in the download section is the MAC OS DVD for Mirrored Drive Door models; the last model to boot OS9
I have a dual 1.25 MDD computer and I downloaded the file here but it doesn't install with an error that it is incomplete

I downloaded the file here

Thank you for your help!

The first thing to notice is that on the one you're trying to use, in the title in great big letters it says "Single CPU". You have a 1.25 dual CPU.

What you're (probably) missing is the proper driver in the "Multiprocessing" folder.
I can't say that for certain though…OR if that's the only problem.

IMPORTANT QUESTION: Is your MDD the Firewire 800 model? - easy to tell if it has a FW800 port next to the two FW400 on the back.
If it IS, you need the "unsupported" install HERE: http://macos9lives.com/smforum/index.php/topic,2143.0.html

If it is NOT, I suggest you try the Universal Install HERE: http://macos9lives.com/smforum/index.php/topic,2109.0.html

You are right! I didn't see that thank you Gary. . . Read the fine print right? :-)
Universal works perfect. Next time I will read twice. :)
