is this machine even worth it to change the cpu in?
it does have a stealth port in it.. but i though... for the price of getting a cpu for it, i could get a whole new quicksilver or mdd
and put all my compatible peripherals into a newer machine....

i looked up the highest cpu with the same 100mhz bus is the dual processor 500... not very much gain from 450..
and most os9 apps arent even going to use any secondary cpu probably..

i guess the only worthwhile update for this machine would be a sonnet 1.8ghz?
is it even worth it due to low ram speed (pc-100)

Are the more stable PowerMacG4 says Zen after having MDD 866, MDD 1.42, Gigabit Eternet, Quicksilvers and DigitalAudio.
