Greetings everyone, I'm having a bit of a problem here...
I recently bought a Radeon 7000 PCI (Windows version) and decided to throw it to my Desktop G3 Power Macintosh (running OS 9.2.1). I flashed it with the reduced gotoh ROM ('reduced using new method' one), and followed this tutorial (https://ateliershiori.moe/2015/03/upgrading-a-powermac-g3-bw-with-a-pc-ati-radeon-7000-pci-card/) to get it working (installed the Rom Xtender from the 9200 ROM update, and 7000 drivers/extensions after that).
At first I thought the card's working just fine (booted up, display works fine, the card is shown in the profiler), but then I noticed my Mac crashes every time it tries to launch a 3D application (Bugdom, The Sims, Quake, to name a few). They all worked fine on a Rage 128GL I had before.
Any clues what's happening there? Should I flash it with a different rom? Or maybe there's an extension/clock problem?

can u show a photo of the exact card you have;
i have a radeon 7000 - mine is a sapphire one;
there is definately a booby trap that radeon 7k users fall into
i have fallen into it a few times
my g3 would not work properly with the radeon 7k that i had flashed either
its now alot happier with a red 9200 pci i think
for whatever reason my 7000 wouldnt work well on a mac
i have flashed it back to pc and its in my pentium 75 windows 95 pc at the moment (not the best match either, but its the only pci video card i had for it)
