Are members like protoolsguy or knezzen still about?

I just got a G4 1.25 single core, and a hd1 core.

Kinda excited to try and get it working and get some oldschool TDM plugs up and running.

Yeah. I am an LE guy. Notice is not the same a MIX Core than a HDCore... 2 different beast

I cant sort all the plugs from http://macintoshgarden.org/apps/os9-daw-software-kit-pro-tools-plugins-tdm-rtas-vst-audiosuite-mas

Use http://macintoshgarden.org/apps/pro-tools-tdm-531 as is the only working for HD.

Knezzen work on TDM hardware, not HD IIRC

didnt HD come out in 2008/2009?
ie: it cant be used on macos9 can it? only osx?

Pretty sure HD pci x came out in 2003 and worked with 5.3.1


I'm having enough issues just getting os 9 installed though! so not sure i'll get that far.

today i setup a HD 2 System with 64bit expansion chassis under OS9.2.2 with Pro Tools 5.3.1 .
First DigiTest dont find the cards in the expansion chassis (digidesign 7 slot PCI-X)
the update ( DigiTest 5.3.1 r2 ) help and diaplayed the first HD core card , the HD process card (slot2) is not found.

Update the firmware of the Audio Interface 96io failed . my is comming with firmware 4.9 and 3.0 ist what Digitest want to downgrade .

Pro Tools 5.3.1 is launching but 80% of all windows are blank . hardware setup is working and the System usage window displayed both hd cards.

i think all th hd hardware on mac os9 is on beta testing stage - its much better to work with th mix system !!!

fore any question , please contact me ...

the board is not dead  :D

edit : all the sound making plugins from Pro tools mix are not working with PT 5.3.1 and HD Hardware ...(very very bad  >:( >:( >:( :o )

Which expansion chassis do you have? Your probably better off installing the cards inside the computers pcix slots first?

Glad somebody else out there is having a go at getting this working though!

The Expansion Chassis is a Digidesign Magma P7R4  7slot 64Bit

My G4 is in a 19" case . No Space for Full lenght pcix cards.
