Hi everyone. I'm feeling frustrated!
I've downloaded the universal ISO. It boots fine. When I run Apple Software Restore, I get the error that "Some Applications Cannot Be Quit -1712"
I've read online that this could be the fault of the HDD, but I've switched to another one I know is good and get the same result. I've searched this board as best as I know how and am unable to find a solution. Any help is much appreciated!

This may help... booting with the option-key boot method (or open firmware boot, if necessary).
