Hello

I wanted to install on a powermac G4 AGP 400 MZ an OS 9. 2. 2.

The mac started ok on the cd of instalation made from the OS found on macrepository

I installed the system on the hard disk

I reboot but at the end of startup

I have on the screen "input not supported".

Can you help me thanks

What resolutions do the monitor supports?

Maybe it is in a aspect ratio too modern for Mac  OS 9

mac  keyboard  and mouse via usb

I suspect the screen is the source of the problem
it's a laCie 120
1280 * 1024
H 80 khz V 75 Hz
analog input

When I boot in Safe Mode no pb

the pb " input not supported " appears only when i try to boot normally

Help please

Looks like your monitor control panel is set to a higher resolution than the monitor supports.
The easiest way is to connect a monitor that can handle the current setting and reduce it to a value that fits the (now) failing monitor.
With only a single monitor you may boot without a monitor connected, shut off manually and the reboot again with monitor. Usually this clears the setting and the control panel is reset to the lowest resolution. Then choose the proper setting according to the monitor's specs.
