anyone ever seen anything like this? the listing claims its an m-audio product? strange

It was removed from a slim desktop pc. It is used to connect the pci slots in a horizontal position inside the computer case because it's too slim to have them mounted on the motherboard and also because there are no other slots on the motherboard. I's likely to work only in the original computer.

ok someones an idiot for putting the m-audio name with it;)

Sorry to agree. It might work on other motherboards too, but i wouldn't risk it. You can clearly see in the picture, the metal frame that was removed from the case with the adapter itself. The seller would have made a better job at fooling some poor soul if he had removed that.

i dont think hes purposefuly trying to fool anyone hes just a liquidator guy doin his job
sellin off lots of equipment
ive bought stuff off him before tbh!

Oh, ok. I guess it's a habbit. Here in Romania, i can find tons of conmen on e-bay similar sites and have to be really careful at what you buy.

yes i understand, many people trying to sell old junk for top doller.. makes me quite agitated to see this too;)
