Title: EWQLS Gold Installer help?!
Post by: paule on January 27, 2018, 06:57:43 AM
Hi all together,
I am struggling with an old VST instrument, which I remember I have worked with (but I am not sure anymore). As soon as I try to instantiate it in Logic the following error appears:

"could not load: EWQLSOGoldVST ClassicLib shared library
error -2804"

This EWQLS-plugin is in the system extension folder on the right place (/Native Instruments), but it seems that logic doesn't find it while using it via DirectTDM.

As a standalone APP the EWQLS Gold is working and also in cubase it starts without a problem as a vst instrument. Strange!

I have a installer CD of the EWQSL which is after all that years not in a good shape and I cannot get it running.

Is anyone around here who is running a version of the"EWQLS Lib" system extension or the VST plugin?

Best, paule.

I had the exact same problem with Stordrum and Drumkit from hell for OS9. In Cubase I got the same error (-2804). I tried moving the Lib extensions to the loose system folder. In the Native Instrument folder, it never worked. Were you able to figure out what the problem was? Has anyone ever had this happen and solved it? Let me know, thanks.
