Post by: CurtisC on January 15, 2018, 08:30:54 PM
Has anybody found Turbosynth 2.23 online, anywhere? I am trying to find a downloadable version. I have 2.22.

2.23 does not exist, it is in fact turbosynth v2.21x3

since we are already necro thread

i desperatedly need a working turbosynth v1.0 since it supports my yamaha tx16w sampler and the v2.0 does not anymore.

As a TX16W user this is interesting... but I wonder how useful it would be in reality - presumably it's just standard MIDI sample dump, in which case perhaps I wonder if later versions support that? Over the years I've found the easiest way to transfer samples to the TX16W (assuming you're using Typhoon) is as AIFFs via floppy (or disk image since I got a floppy emulator)

Must have a play with Turbosynth!

The value of the specific sampler support is that in some cases the software can emulate the sampler's front panel in addition to downloading samples into it. This makes it possible to achieve more automation when combined with D/As like Macro Recorder, Tempo, QuickKeys, or AutoMac.

That's interesting. Thanks for the info!
