only compatible "PowerPC 970fx" cpu type machines!!
"powerPC970" are not compatible : first generation (2003) pci & pci-x machines
"powerPC970MP" are not compatible : last generation (2005-2006)  pci-e machines

no this is for "FX" g5 (2004) models only
