Title: Mac OS 9.2.2 Universal Install Problem ?

Hello,

first time a great hello from Germany :)

I have loaded the following file from this forum:

Mac OS 9.2.2 Universal Install - ISO CD Image - Most Popular Download

I could burn it and the CD is recognized on the Mac. It also starts, but there is a break on the monitor. Neither the space key on the keyboard or a jerk by  the mouse was successful. Okay, I thought maybe installed the CD automatically. But after 30 minutes I canceled this because there was no change

Have someone a tip for me ? Otherwise another source where I can load OS 9 for my G4 :) Thank you very much

i didnt check this image but if you can boot from it hold down shift while it boots and see if it works then. if it is a drag and drop installer then thats what you have to do. mount it and drag it to a free bootable partition. need more info about what you trying to accomplish.

Everything okay. It runs :) I could actually first install it on a hard disk by my Quicksilver. Then I changed the hard drive and inserted into my other Power Mac. Works just fine :) Now I am satisfied and am happy to work with OS 9 again :)
