Followed disassembly for HD replacement guide:

Using a spudger on step 10.
Took off jumper on ableconn so it is in cable select mode.
Booted universal installer, opened disk image and went to drive setup for version 2.1 to use more than 128 gigs.
Installed, running great!

Just a follow up. It's been running great.

So you are using OS9 ?
I'm asking because I thought this Samsung drive is giving problems under OS9.

Yes. 9.2.2 from one of the universal install disks.
What trouble is it giving you?

Here you can read of someone having problems.

Mactron also reported problems under OS9.
I have still to buy some SSD for my needs so I'm looking for candidates.

Hi.
I haven't had any problems. I didn't read the thread fully, but they appear to be using the SSDs on G4 workstations, and this is in the laptop.
The only problem was the version of Disk Setup wasn't the latest and you have to open the installer image on the disk to use the latest version to get more than 120GB to show up.
